Step 3
1. Choose a comfortable position, whether lying down, squatting, sitting on the toilet, or standing. Over time, you'll discover which position works best for you.
2. Relax your vaginal muscles. Hold the folded cup with the open side facing up and guide it into your vagina. It should sit lower than a tampon. Release the fold, allowing the cup open.
Inserting the cup
Step 4
1. Make sure the cup is comfortable. If necessary, adjust the position by gently pulling or pushing on the stem. Once your menstrual cup is inserted, try to gently pull on the stem. If you feel resistance, the vacuum has formed, indicating that the cup is positioned correctly.
2. You can wear your cup for up to 12 hours, depending on your period. It may be necessary to empty it more than twice a day.
We recommend emptying your menstrual cup more frequently in the beginning to better understand your flow and determine how often it needs to be emptied.
TIP: Empty the cup in the morning and at night before going to bed. Remember, a cup can hold as much as three tampons!

1. When you want to empty your cup, wash your hands and gently press on the ribbed area above the stem so the vacuum disappear.
2. Make sure to break the vacuum before removing, to prevent suction.
3. Slide the cup out carefully to keep everything inside.
4. Rinse the cup with water. Also, use your fingers to gently clean the little holes in the cup. Repeat Step 2 to Step 4.
If you can't rinse it with clean water, use toilet paper and rinse when you’re back home.
Tip: If you can't find the cup, try pushing like when you're going poop, while feeling for the stem with your finger.

Frequently Asked Questions
100% Medical Silicone
The primary raw material for silicone is silica or silicon dioxide, primarily sourced from sand, which is the second most abundant element on earth. The phrase 'medical-grade silicone' indicates that it is safe for medical purposes and for the human body. Medical-grade silicone is also hypoallergenic, latex-free, and contains no toxins or chemicals. Given that silicone is a stable and non-reactive ingredient, silicone products usually do not expire.
The cup is designed to last a long time and has been tested to prove it. Most customers choose to get a new one every 3-5 years, but if yours still looks good with no problems, you can keep using it. Just make sure to replace it if it starts feeling sticky or shows any cracks.
You can use the cup with an intrauterine device (IUD), but remember to break the suction seal before taking it out. It's best to talk to your gynecologist before using it, especially if you've recently had an IUD inserted. Wait for at least 2 menstrual cycles before using the cup after getting your IUD.
If the cup is inserted correctly and it's the right size, it shouldn't leak, even if it's not completely full. To ensure a leak-free period, it's important to create a suction seal and ensure the cup is fully unfolded inside you. After insertion, gently pinch the bottom of the cup or use your index finger alongside it, then rotate slightly until it unfolds smoothly without any dents and doesn't move downward when pulling the stem. This indicates that the suction seal is properly in place.
Yes, you can sleep with your menstrual cup inserted. Menstrual cups are designed to be worn for longer periods, including overnight. Just make sure to empty and clean it before bed and after waking up to maintain hygiene and prevent leaks.
